Fight a few battles in this fashion and the wild kid is happily aboard the airship. The trouble is, Gau runs away if you have a full party. Continuing their individual story arcs - and recruiting a few new faces along the way - is what this guide's all about. We're going to assume that most players would rather enjoy the fullness of FF6's famously bleak second half, however, rather than turning it into something more akin to a "final ten percent."
